Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted on servers located in Germany. When you visit the site, technical data is automatically collected by the hosting provider (server log files), including IP address, date and time of access, page requested, and browser used. This processing is carried out to ensure stable operation of the website (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation, legitimate interest).

Analytics
This website uses the WP Statistics plugin to analyze visitor traffic. Data is processed entirely locally on my own server, no data is shared with third parties. IP addresses are anonymized by masking the final segment, making personal identification impossible. Analytics data is retained for one year. The legal basis is Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (legitimate interest in analyzing website usage).

Instagram
This website contains links to my Instagram profile. These are plain links, not embedded content; no data is transmitted to Instagram unless you click the link. Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) is responsible for any further data processing. See their privacy policy for details.

Newsletter
This website uses Mailchimp, a newsletter dispatch service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. If you subscribe, your email address is processed to send you newsletters. Registration uses a double opt-in procedure: you receive a confirmation email and must actively confirm before any newsletters are sent. Your IP address and the timestamps of registration and confirmation are stored as proof of consent. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a of the General Data Protection Regulation). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by contacting me using the details above. Your data is deleted from Mailchimp once you unsubscribe. Mailchimp records whether and when newsletters are opened and which links are clicked, to evaluate and improve newsletter performance. Mailchimp is based in the USA. The Rocket Science Group LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection; Standard Contractual Clauses are additionally incorporated into Mailchimp's Data Processing Addendum as a fallback safeguard.
